Having had shorthand and typing mercilessly thrust upon us at journalism school years ago, I've been touchtyping for years and been eternally grateful for those forced lessons, as computers became a way of life.
But have only now found this cool little typing race (complete with hot cars and traffic lights) site to see what speed I managed to keep up at! Good for both a giggle, curiousity; and motivating your colleagues or kids to practice a repetitive skill they're going to need whether they want it or not!
Excessive punctuation does you in if they give you a tough sentence. Typo's slow you down because you have to go back and correct... I guess that's only fair ! Funny site.
